Launch of the Second Training Group of Entrepreneurship Program for Displaced People from Nagorno-Karabakh

On July 15, the second group of training sessions within the Entrepreneurship Education Development Program for Displaced People from Nagorno-Karabakh was launched, initiated by the Republican Union of Employers of Armenia. The program aims to develop participants’ business mindset and entrepreneurial skills, promote self-employment and entrepreneurship, and support their socio-economic integration.
The training sessions of the second group are being organized in an online format in order to broaden the geographical accessibility of the program and enable beneficiaries residing in different regions of Armenia to participate.
The program includes 12 thematic courses delivered by experienced specialists: Mihran Tadevosyan, RUEA Board Member, economist and finance specialist, and Soghomon Mirzoyan, President of the “Association of Financiers of Armenia” NGO, financial expert, PhD in Economics.
The first session, conducted by Mihran Tadevosyan, was dedicated to the topic “The Essence and Economic Content of Business.” During the session, participants were introduced to the basic principles of business, types of economic systems, forms and classifications of business activities, as well as the common mistakes often made by beginner entrepreneurs.
In the upcoming sessions, participants will learn about business registration procedures, specifics of the legislative framework, key approaches to business planning and financial management, the structure of pricing and taxation systems, as well as effective methods for attracting capital and positioning in the market.
It should be noted that the program is being implemented with the support of the International Labour Organization (ILO), within the framework of the initiative “Building the Capacity of Constituents to Pre-empt the Informalisation of Work and Promote the Transition to Formality in the Context of a Refugee Crisis.”

30-04-2021On 30 April 2021, three RUEA representatives attended a meeting on the progress of the “Resource Saving and Clean Production” (RSCP) component of the “EU for the Environment” program. The main purpose of the meeting was to demonstrate the possible application of RSCP practices based on food / agriculture, construction materials and chemical industry, as well as to receive suggestions on partnership opportunities with other interested organizations.
