Third Group of Trainings Kicks off Within Entrepreneurship Program for Displaced People from Nagorno-Karabakh

On August 12, the third group of trainings within the Entrepreneurship Education Development Program for displaced people from Nagorno-Karabakh was launched at the initiative of the Republican Union of Employers of Armenia. The program aims to foster business mindset and entrepreneurial skills among our compatriots, support their self-employment and entrepreneurship, and promote their socio-economic integration.

The third round of trainings is delivered in a hybrid format, combining both in-person and online learning sessions. This approach allows the program to expand its geographical accessibility and ensure the participation of beneficiaries residing in different regions of Armenia.

Within the program, 12 thematic courses are planned, delivered by experienced professionals in the field: economist and finance specialist Mihran Tadevosyan, member of the RUEA Council, and  Soghomon Mirzoyan, President of the “Association of Financiers of Armenia” NGO and financial expert.

The first course, led by Mihran Tadevosyan, was dedicated to the topic Business: Its Essence and Economic Content. During the session, participants were introduced to the fundamental principles of business, types of economic systems, forms and classifications of business activity, as well as common mistakes often made by startup entrepreneurs.

In the upcoming sessions, participants will explore the procedures of business registration, the specifics of the legislative framework, fundamental approaches to business planning and financial management, principles of pricing and the tax system, as well as effective strategies for attracting capital and positioning in the market.

It should be noted that the program is implemented with the support of the International Labour Organization (ILO), within the framework of the initiative Building the Capacity of Constituents to Pre-empt the Informalisation of Work and Promote the Transition to Formality in the Context of a Refugee Crisis.”
